Hmm my blog posts have gone from once a week, to twice a month, to a month since I last posted here.
Well I have been distracted so bugger off.
Anyways, to the updates. The Porsche is still in the shop. Due to a heat issue the entire electrical harness fused together and is in the process of being replaced. I am guessing the repair bill that I was once hoping would be 500 dollars may be much closer to 2000. Well hopefully I will be able to just add that to the sell price and try to break even.
I will be changing jobs on Wednesday. Even though I love Vail Resorts and was looking forward to a career there, their sister company RTP, Resort Technology Partners, offered me a real salary to work for them and run their network. It will be tough work but I look forward to the challenge. My first day is on Thursday.
My house I am staying at is undergoing some serious construction. My roommate who owns the house is putting in hardware floors throughout the house. This lead to him replacing the dishwasher, which lead to him replacing the countertop with granite, which lead to him replacing the bar with butcher-board, which lead to him replacing the sink. Over all we no longer have a kitchen or dining room as they are loaded with tools and sawdust as we wait for everything to be delivered.
I went to a Porn Star 70's party last Saturday. That was a lot of fun. But the older I get the less fun those events are. I ended up leaving early at Midnight to work in the morning. I am just not a party person anymore. Not getting out makes meeting people difficult but I am just not comfortable enough to met people in that environment anyways.
Well wish me luck at the new job and hopefully I will try and get back into regular posting mode again.
