Update on the life outside of my site updates.

Found my phone. It had dropped out of my pocket in the server room when I was moving some heavy stuff around.

A friend of mine told me about a Comic Con in Denver on May 20th for the weekend. I am thinking we may have to take a trip down there and I can hit the MINI dealership that weekend.

I usually read a book before going to sleep. I read until I get tired and then sleep. Last night I finally put down the book at 3:00 A.M. and forced myself to sleep. So this morning I am freaking tired with only 4 hours of sleep last night.

I don't know if it is a side effect of lack of sleep lately or if I am turning into a zombie but I think I might have pink-eye. My left eye is all bloodshot and constantly leaking tears. And the tears are sticking my eyelashes together. I don't know if it is just irritated and the irritation is causing it to tear up, which is leaving the stickiness and causing the irritation in a vicious cycle or if I might actually have something wrong with me.

If my memory serves me right I think I have had pink-eye before when I was a young child. I think the symptoms were akin to this. I figure I will get some proper sleep tonight and let it sit a couple of days. If it doesn't clear up by Monday I will have to see a doctor about it.

Work is going ok. I am working on a number of big projects. I have so many big projects right now, and they are so big that I am having problems delegating my time. I find anytime I start documenting or researching an issue my mind wanders to one of the other projects and I start thinking or trying to work on that one. This spreads me out and I just don't feel like I am getting much done.

When I think about it objectively I know I am making progress, I just feel like that if I had only one project I would be making better time. But all projects are equally important to different people so I like to show each of the 4 different people progress and that means doing all 4 projects consecutively.

Other than that, it is Smallville tonight and I am looking forward to this week's episode. Chloe will finally reveal to Clark that she knows about his powers.

So check out the new site and forum look and be happy.

This morning I am really bummed out. I lost my cell phone. I had it Sunday night, I remember receiving a message on it to go to a BBQ and I replied K. Then Monday at work when I was ready for lunch I realized I didn't have it with me. So between leaving my house, going to a friend's house, reaching home, and going to work I lost my cell phone somewhere. I have searched my house and work so I am hoping it is at my friend's house. I will call them tonight and ask them.

Next is the latest development to news from my last post. I am giving up on transcribing the Afternow. It is more a job than it is a hobby. There is another person on their forums that wanted to work on it. I will send him my last notes and wish him luck.

As for the MINI test drive, I am unsure when my friend might next make it to Denver. I am thinking of taking the risk to roll the the Neon over the pass and go myself so I can do the test drive and possibly get the ball rolling on this buy. The other thing I am balancing this with is the fact that every week I wait I make more for a down payment.

Firewall issue is finally resolved. Now I am on to server setup projects at work.

I went out snowboarding with the crew from RTP a week ago. It was a lot of fun. Nice when you get paid to go up on the hill.

I have really gotten into Stargate SG-1 and am currently watching Season 6. I have Season 7 also so looked forward to watching those to. That will complete my watching of all currently released seasons.

I have sent an e-mail to the MINI dealership in Denver and plan on test driving one in the next two months. If I like it I plan on buying one. Once I decide to buy one it is a 6-8 month waiting list. The car has been out 6 years and still has a waiting list.

I am currently working on transcribing an old radio show called Tales of the Afternow by Sean Kennedy. I had done the first 3 episodes a year ago before I quit because it seemed no one was interested in my work I did. Now a year later a few people asking for me to continue work on them I decided to start transcribing again. It is a good show and I will finish episode four and decide if I want to continue working on them after that.

Well it is almost 5 so time for me to log off so I can slack for the rest of the day.
